The ball pressure test is to press into the surface of non-metallic and non-ceramic materials at high temperature, and use a ball pressure tester to detect the denaturation, adhesion, fusibility and corrosion resistance of the sample at high temperature, so as to verify whether it can resist the damage caused by the high temperature environment and make the product meet the requirements of safe operation.

The ball pressure tester is equipped with a 5mm stainless steel ball with a maximum applied pressure of 20N±0.2N, and the supporting block is 50 mm in diameter and 100mm in length, and is equipped with a temperature measuring hole for analyzing the heat resistance.

1.The ball pressure test device is placed in the heating box to ensure that the test temperature is stable;

 

2.Place the specimen on the support seat, maintaining direct contact with the support seat.

 

3.The surface of the specimen is level, and the steel ball is pressed against the surface.

 

4.The steel balls are removed from the specimen and cooled as specified in the standard.

 

5.After 60min+2min/0min, measure the indentation diameter of the steel ball to judge whether it exceeds 2mm, so as to determine the heat deformation resistance of the sample at temperature.

 

Ball pressure testing can quickly and accurately identify the heat deformation resistance of materials, and ball pressure tester is a fast and effective way to test the heat resistance of a variety of industrial materials and mechanical structure samples.
