Product Purpose

Yarn Appearance Board Winder, To assess the evenness, hairiness, neps and other imperfections in a representative sample of yarn wound at a pre-determined pitch onto a tapered black yarn board.

Testing steps for the blackboard machine (HTY-004A)

Complies with standards: :ASTM D 2255-96

  • Assembly: Thread yarn is placed on the spindle, and the yarn is successively passed through the guide components and led to the blackboard for fixation.
  • Setting: Connect the power supply, select the winding density and tension.
  • Winding: Press the start button, and the machine will automatically evenly wind the yarn onto the blackboard. It will stop automatically when it reaches the limit.
  • Sampling: Cut the yarn, fix the yarn end, and remove the blackboard.
  • Rating: Under the standard light source, compare with the sample to evaluate the yarn’s texture, cotton knot, and impurity grades.
