What does Toys Bite Tester do?

Toys Bite Tester is an instrument used to test the ability of protruding parts and accessories on the surface of a toy to withstand bite force, which simulates a child’s teeth.

Complies with standards: ASTM F963, 16CFR 1500.52C

Test the Procedure

1.The specimen must be placed in the environment of room temperature 23±2 degrees and humidity of 20%~70% for 4 hours before the bite test

2.Place the test part in the bite tester to a depth of at least 0.25 in, reach the required pound for 5 seconds and hold for 10 seconds.

Requirements: American Standards:

0～18 months 25±0.5LBS

18～36 months 50±0.5LBS

36～96 months 100±0.5LBS

4.Judgment: No judgment is required for this test, only test records are required.
